I just tried to make it work on the button “keep up to date!” at https://newearthnation.org but unfortunately the size parameters are not being taken into account… You can see the class in the button includes “fancybox-inline {width:250,height:150}”
We did activate the Metadata jQuery extension.
What am I doing wrong? How can I troubleshoot? Is there anywhere good documentation on all the metadata that we can pass and how?
Another quick question: Is there any simple way to delay for say, 30 seconds a fancybox-auto pop up?

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Looking at your site source code, I see the metadata extension is being loaded. And from your description of the button class code you used, I can see nothing wrong.
However, the button seems to have been removed from https://newearthnation.org/ … is there anywhere else I can see it live?
