ParticipantDear Support,
I am loading a fancybox in Revolution Slider 5, and a Vimeo inside that Fancybox. All of this works and was set up like in your tutorial. What I don’t want is the black window/border around the vimeo pop up that usually appears on certain mobile phones/tablets (see attachment).
Which option let’s me remove that? For desktop I set the dimensions to match the aspect ratio of the video (16:9, so 1080×608) and got rid of it that way, but on mobile devices it stretches to the top and bottom and looks ridiculous.
Hoping you can help me remove this.
Best,
JulianAttachments:

KeymasterHi Julian, the dedicated Vimeo embed is designed to keep it’s aspect ratio when resized. Apparently this is not working in your case.
Could you share a link to your site where I can see it live? It may be a conflict with other scripts on that page…

ParticipantDid you manage to figure out why it is not working correctly in this instance?

KeymasterHi Julian, it’s a very weird effect that I have not seen before. Hard to debug because with the browser Dev Toolbar it starts to behave differently. I’ve not been able to figure out what causes this 🙁
Could you try another script version on Settings > Media? Maybe fancyBox2 version that has a slightly different way of calculating space, will behave correctly here.
I also wonder if it is because of the fact that you use the class “fancybox” instead of the required class “fancybox-vimeo” or no class and letting the autodetect do its work… That is, if you followed instructions on https://premium.status301.com/knowledge-base/easy-fancybox/slider-revolution-5/
But the API code snippet seems different, so maybe I should ask: which instructions did you follow? 🙂

ParticipantHey RavanH,
I actually did not do the original implementation, but this problem was dropped in my lap. The original developer did this years ago and I just tried to make sense of the problem. Anyway, I am happy to report that your tip to switch the class in Slider Revolution to “fancybox-vimeo” completely solved the issue!
Thanks so much!
(Not sure how to mark this as solved)
