ParticipantHi,
I have just recently found out that the popoup of the images don’t work properly anymore.
My site is http://www.webfoodculture.com, I use the plugin since I started it without any issues.
Fact is that something has happened just recently: when I click on an image, it pops up but, after a couple of seconds, the web page disappears, the background becomes gray (or white on the pad), and the image is not in its box anymore. To go back to the page I have to click on the back button of the browser.
I have already tried to install an older version of the plugin (recently upgraded), but without results.
Can you please help? this is quite a big issue for me.
Many thanks in advance.
A.

KeymasterHi Antonio, have you (recently) activated link/click tracking or installed an analytics plugin maybe?

ParticipantDear RavanaH,
as usual you are right.
Yes I have “Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights”: I updated it recently, it seems that this update has some issues with Easy Fancybox.
Now it’s deactivated and there are no problems with the images anymore.
Just trying to figure aout if to keep Analytics at all. 😛
Many many thanks Rav!

KeymasterI’ve tried to find info about the outbound link tracking behavior of Google Analytics for WordPress but can’t find an overview of possible settings. Is there an option to switch off outbound link or click tracking in the plugin’s settings?
If so, please try that.

ParticipantHi Ravanah,
it seems that there are no settings in Google Analytics related to the outbound link tracking behavior. I have just posted on their support page, hoping to get some infos.
Anyway, the same problem seems to affect all the fancybox plugins (I have tried another couple).
For now I keep Analytics disabled, waiting for a new, more stable version. I could evenn try, in the meanwhile, to downgrade to a previous release. I’ll think about it.
